Kitten Return Policy

1. All Sales Are Final

All kitten sales through Favcats are final.
Kittens are placed into their new homes as-is, in good health to the best of our knowledge, confirmed by a licensed veterinarian at the time of sale.
No monetary refunds or returns will be issued once the kitten leaves our care.

2. Health Guarantee

Each kitten is examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption and receives age-appropriate vaccinations & deworming, and a veterinary health certificate.
All kittens are guaranteed negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) at the time of sale.
Buyer must have the kitten examined by their own licensed veterinarian within 5 days of receiving the kitten. Failure to do so voids this guarantee.
The guarantee does not cover minor or temporary illnesses due to relocation stress (e.g., upper respiratory infection, fleas, mites, worms, ringworm).

If, within 2 years, the kitten dies from a congenital or hereditary defect (confirmed by necropsy from a licensed pathologist), Favcats will offer a replacement kitten. (Exact sex/color/pattern cannot be guaranteed, though reasonable efforts will be made.)

3. Shipping & Delivery

Kittens may ship within 10–20 days after purchase, depending on age, vet clearance, and logistics.
Shipping is handled by third-party providers (airlines, professional nannies).
Delays due to weather, airline cancellations, or mechanical issues are outside Favcats’ control and are not grounds for refund.
Seller’s responsibility is limited to providing: health certificate, vaccination records, and coordination of safe delivery.

4. Buyer’s Responsibilities

Provide proper care, nutrition, safe housing, and veterinary attention.
Maintain updated veterinary records (may be requested for health claims).
Complete a vet check within 5 days of arrival.
Avoid unnecessary vaccinations during the first 10 days (unless advised by a vet).
Declawing is strictly prohibited – doing so voids all guarantees.
Kitten may not be rehomed, placed in a shelter, rescue, or research facility. If unable to keep the kitten, Buyer must return it to Favcats (no refund issued).

5. Spay/Neuter & Breeding Rights

Unless purchased with breeding rights under a separate written agreement, all kittens are sold as pets only.
Buyer agrees to spay/neuter the kitten by 8 months of age and provide proof.
Unauthorized breeding voids all guarantees and may result in damages pursued by Favcats.

6. Return Policy

Returns are only accepted if a licensed veterinarian certifies that the kitten was sold with a life-threatening congenital or hereditary condition at the time of sale.
In such cases, the kitten may be returned and store credit issued for the purchase price.
Buyer dissatisfaction (allergies, litter habits, personality, lifestyle changes) is not grounds for return or refund.
If Buyer cannot continue care, Favcats reserves the right of first refusal and will responsibly rehome the kitten.
